On 24 August 2022, Aberdeen City Council considered report COM/22/167 titled “Buffer Zones”

The report included an analysis of the Current Situation relating to “various protests/rallies abound both sides” Citing Police Scotland, City of Aberdeen concluded:

“…these have passed of as peaceful events posing no significant issue”
